The ExPO-r-Net project was actively presented and allocated important space during the 2^nd European Commission Conference on European Reference Network, 8-9 October 2015 in Lisbon, Portugal (Roundtable III, Workshop I).

This 2^nd conference regarding the European Reference Network (ERN) model at EU level convened all key stakeholders – European Commission representatives, Member States, healthcare providers as well as patients and other experts – to discuss the forthcoming implementation of the ERNs.

Building on these discussions, stakeholders are mobilising towards the first call for proposals and the roll-out of ERNs in the EU.

As an advanced pilot project, ExPO-r-Net is ideally positioned to be a first success story.
